Our Story
Toby Grill and Bar is the next chapter from Chef Mahendra Singh, a familiar name to diners across Morris County. After more than 40 years in hospitality and two decades welcoming guests at Cinnamon in Morris Plains, Chef Mahendra now welcomes guests to his new neighborhood grill and sports bar, built around the warmth, consistency, and personal care his guests know well.
This is not just another restaurant. It is Chef Mahendra's return to the dining room: a place where longtime customers can reconnect, new guests can discover his cooking, and families can gather for home-style food, familiar hospitality, and a lively bar atmosphere.
The menu brings together Italian-American favorites, grilled salmon, lamb rack, rice bowls, seafood appetizers, and comfort dishes designed for the whole table. Chef Mahendra and the team are excited to welcome the community with the same warmth and hospitality that made him a local favorite.
